Scaramouchine’s requirment for going to Myanmar was that part of it was not adventure-travel but a relaxing beach holiday.  She chose the Pleasant View Resort in Ngapali for its clean design, privacy and easy access to sand and sea.  Upon arrival Scaramouchine grabbed a book and a towel.  The door of her room opened to a white sand beach which was largely deserted, the water was clean and warm, the sunsets spectacular.  For Scaramouchine, time stood still.

Scaramouchine’s room opened onto the white sand Ngapali beach. The room opened both ways, east and west, so, when opened allowed a cooling breeze. From the East Scaramouchine enjoyed the morning sunlight and from the West could enjoy the afternoon warmth and the evening sunset.

Scaramouchine didn’t really move from the lounge in front of her room. She enjoyed the view all day long.
